It is now the eleventh hour and the Northeast Association of 4WD Clubs is working feverishly with its associate members as well as non-affiliated clubs including Eastern 4 Wheelers and Patriot Jeepers. In peril, as you may have read through the many forums is the potential loss of public access to a certain well-traveled roadway in Florida and Adams Mass. A few days before the actual clean up a few of us were worried that we may not have a lot of work to do or trash to pick up…boy were we wrong! The majority of trash was picked up off the side of East Hoosac Street. Unfortunately the trash service was not able to determine the actual weight of all the trash that we picked up. We did collect over 7 cubic yards of assorted trash, 18 tires, a freezer, a couch, 2 mattresses, and a large pile of scrap metal. Luckily the town of Adams disposed of the tires at no cost, but New England 4 Wheelers, Inc. did pick up the tab for the dump truck. read more…

This road travels uphill with exposed granite ledges and large boulder fields. Do not attempt in a bone stock vehicle, recommmend at least 30 inch tires.
Jaquith RD is located on the southern end of Hancock NH off of RT 137 on the Hancock/Harrisville town line. Across the street is Field and Forest Campground a.k.a. The Forest. read more…
